As the people who nurture and care for children in state custody on a daily basis, Resource Parents are on the front line of a student’s educational well-being. Foster and kinship families support school success by making school activities a priority, offering encouragement, communicating with school personnel, and often by providing the transportation necessary to keep a child in their home school.
